Also a little insight on why the updates are nonexistent for now. :p","# Support for latest MC 26.3 added!\n\nIt was not a fun task at all. What Mojang has been doing to the game protocol lately is really painful to work with. Especially if you want to maintain the server on top of the good version (1.8). ViaVersion helps a ton, but some parts are our own and we need to manually update the protocol by merging upstream changes with our own. Horrible. 2\u002F10 experience. I'd much rather spend that time sitting in front of a wall and staring at its soul. Well, it's done now at least.\n\nSo it's been a while since I've posted an update here. I've had many things happen in my life lately. Since the last update, I had the most beautiful vacation in my life with my girlfriend, or rather future wife. It was our first time traveling together so that's definitely a core memory and something I'll grind for.\n\nAnd that's probably why updates of marCloudMC have been slow — I've been spending most of my time working on projects that I could, well, monetize. Living together requires a lot of money, a ton of it actually, so while dedicating my free for the Minecraft server would definitely be fun, it is not the right choice in my opinion for two reasons:\n- **There are no players.** And yes, it's my fault. I never did any proper advertising campaigns for the server. But honestly, I doubt those would do anything. Most players either quit or moved to the oreo smp ahh servers on the latest version. That's not something I loved about the game, so I won't force it.\n- **The server is free**, and I believe p2w is disgusting and definitely not something to put under the name 'marCloud'.\n\nThat being said, **I want to allocate some free time on finally releasing SkyWars**. There are no servers out there really which would have the proper skywars implementation. With properly balanced chests. With properly done maps. With the proper PVP version. And an anticheat that doesn't suck, hopefully that's still an accurate thing to say about LeonAC.\n\nAnyway, marCloudMC will be there for you forever. It's where I met my love. And may our love for the server remain the power that will keep it up forever for you to hop on sometimes and enjoy some clean Minecraft.\n\nHave a wonderful day!! \n*~ Marcelektro*","https:\u002F\u002Fmc.marcloud.net\u002Fcdn\u002Fuser-uploads\u002FScreenshot From 2026-09-18 13-30-19.webp",false,[15],{"slug":16,"name":17,"kind":18,"color":19},"update","Update","general","#0082c9","public",{"data":22,"body":23},{},{"type":24,"children":25},"root",[26,35,41,46,51,77,89,94],{"type":27,"tag":28,"props":29,"children":31},"element","h1",{"id":30},"support-for-latest-mc-263-added",[32],{"type":33,"value":34},"text","Support for latest MC 26.3 added!",{"type":27,"tag":36,"props":37,"children":38},"p",{},[39],{"type":33,"value":40},"It was not a fun task at all.
